全球醫學文獻資料庫

美國國家醫學圖書館 NLM 於 1964年建立了全國性醫學文獻網路MEDLARS﹐發展
至今﹐已有 34 年歷史﹐目前擁有多個資料庫中﹐最重要且發展最早的為MEDLINE
(MEDLARS ON LINE) 生物醫學資料庫。 該資料庫包含10,000多種生命科學期刊文獻
資料﹐目前約有 600 萬筆紀錄﹐且每個月以20,000 - 15,000筆紀錄增加中﹐75% 為英
文文獻﹐25% 為非英文文獻。自1975年以後﹐才將文獻摘要收錄。

由此資料庫所出版的刊物有四種﹕
１．Index Medicus﹐
２．Abridge Index dicus﹐
３．Index to Dental Literature﹐
４．International Nursing Index。

OVID系統不僅只是提供MEDLINE資料庫檢索﹐更包括了常用的醫學全文期刊﹐提供使
用者可以經由MEDLINE的文獻而輕易地由網路上獲得期刊全文﹐在架構了MEDLINE
醫學資料庫後﹐醫學全文期刊將是下一步要發展的方向。

藥品報導;毒物藥品及生物產品鑑定管理系統;疾病外傷緊急照護諮詢系統

Drugdex(藥品報導):

Drugdex 資料庫是一具有格式化的大綱,藥品資料是來自世界各地的藥物中心和藥理研究單位,
將最正確之藥品資訊傳達給醫師,藥師等醫療相關人員。主要內容包含：

〈1〉藥品評估專題論文：
〈2〉藥品副作用檢索：
〈3〉藥品諮詢：
Drugdex中內含的藥品種類極廣，有開發中新藥，世界各國藥品，美國食品及藥物管理局(FDA)
核准上市藥品及成藥，這套由Micromedex編輯群所開發之資料庫，針對藥品劑量，藥品動力學
用藥注意事項，藥品交戶作用，藥品有效度比較及臨床應用等方面來整理相關資料，並由專家
學者們編成一篇篇利用價值極高的專業論文。除此之外，使用者更可以利用藥品的學名、商品名
、適應症或副作用等查詢資料。

Posindex(毒物，藥品及生物產品鑑定管理系統)：

Poisindex資料庫為一完整的毒理學資料庫，其中共收錄了1,000,000種商品藥品及生物產品的成份
鑑定中毒療法及不明毒物之治療方法，Poisindex系統是由洛磯山毒物及藥物中心以及科羅拉多大學
健康中心共同開發之資料庫，廣為醫院急診/外傷部門及毒物/藥物中心採用•
本資料庫可分為兩個主要部份：

〈A〉產品/物質鑑定：
包含下述有毒及無毒記載：日常用品、工業化學品、工業產品、藥品﹝處方、俗名藥、成藥、動物
用藥﹞，生物來源產品﹝植物、動物、食物中毒﹞。
〈B〉管理治療協定：
本系統包含了850種完整的管理/治療協定。

Emergindex(疾病外傷緊急照護諮詢系統)：

Emergindex資料庫是由經驗豐富的急診部門醫師及醫療專業人員編寫的一套諮詢資料庫，而其
主要的使用對象也是急診部的醫療人員。透過本資料庫提供的臨床症狀描述、生化檢驗值、診斷
發現及治療模式使得醫療人員能作出更快速有效的診斷及治療判斷。由於本資料庫不斷地更新，
也使得本資料庫廣為使用。本資料庫的操作方式非常簡便，使用者僅需利用本資料庫所提供的
40,000個關鍵詞及參考國家醫學圖書館主題標題所編輯的同義字，即可查詢所需的資料。
